Building Capacities of Processing Factories

Introduce existing and new factories to new innovative processes and/or products, in line with local and export market demand and standards.

The needs of processing factories will be thoroughly assessed and studied and those interventions which have the most impact will be prioritized. Those include identification of new products, processes and technology in line with market demand and international best practices.

For new tomato products, detailed market analysis in terms of supply, demand, competitiveness and economic returns will be assessed and a detailed feasibility study, marketing and financial, will be done on those products. On hand training on how to produce such products on the factory levels can be delivered via the TLSC.
